Slim originates from a principle of formal simplification and material reduction. From above it reveals the iconic and archetypal shape of a handle, while from the front it appears flat, balancing recognition and abstraction.

Slim, Colombo Design

Winner of the international Colombo Design Calls for Creativity 2009 competition, it was conceived to optimise the use of brass while preserving a strong visual identity. Featured by Designboom in a photographic series set in Beijing, Slim becomes a symbol of transition between spaces and cultures, merging modernity and tradition within the universal language of Italian design.
